"映画『椿三十郎』で若侍役の加山と田中邦衛が、三十郎役の三船敏郎の叱責を受けて殴られる場面があるが、実は撮影直前に二人はうどんを食べに無断で現場を抜け出しており、それを知って憤慨した三船が二人を本気で殴っている場面でもある。そのせいか、周囲の侍役の役者達が三船の剣幕に慄く様が見て取れる。"
